- HEMA RFID
Brighting helped HEMA increase product availability and improve the in-store customer experience.
HEMA aimed to improve stock reliability in its stores, as inaccurate inventory data was leading to out-of-stock situations and operational inefficiencies on the shop floor. At the same time, HEMA wanted to strengthen its omnichannel capabilities and gain actionable insights to optimize store layouts, assortments, and replenishment strategies.
Brighting supported HEMA in implementing RFID technology to enable real-time product tracking and seamless integration with existing store systems. We developed a serverless RFID Integration Service on AWS that integrates with Nedap’s RFID platform.
The solution processes inventory data, manages discrepancy lists between expected and actual stock levels, and synchronizes product information across internal systems. Built on a microservices architecture, the platform ensures scalability, reliability, and near real-time inventory visibility across all connected stores.
